Esther Eden was born in Goa, India on 26th November 1997. Music has always been a part of her life as her mother who was a jazz singer, exposed Esther to different genres of music. However, Esther preferred to concentrate on dancing and choreography.

In 2012, Esther’s interest in music grew while listening to the “+” album by Ed Sheeran and she is now self-taught at the guitar, piano and ukulele.
Her big break was when Jessie J came to her school and was floored when Esther performed the first original song she had written, “Is This Love”. Jessie J then invited Esther to perform for her concert that same evening and the rest as they say is history.

Interview with Esther Eden
1. Why did you want to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter? Was this always what you wanted to do?
I wanted to pursue this as a career because what is better than doing what you love? Singing and songwriting is something I'm passionate about and being able to turn it into a career is a blessing. This wasn't something I always had interest in. I originally wanted to be a child psychologist for special need children as I love children.
2. What was the biggest challenge you faced to get to where you are today?
Believing in myself. I think that's where it all starts. You need to be able to dream big and believe that you will get to where you want to be.

3. What piece of advice would you give to aspiring singers?
Practice, work hard, be determined and humble. Keep learning and growing.
4. What's the best part of being a singer/songwriter,or the best part of a normal day in your life?
The best part of being a singer songwriter is being able to reach a lot of people and inspiring them. I love meeting fans and getting different messages from them. From little kids to adults, I get messages about how they: look up to me, have been influenced, connected to my lyrics and could dance to my music.
